What steps are you taking to reassure your employees and protect your customers in the fight against COVID-19?
One of the ways organisations can do this is to have a contactless temperature checking system and smart entry technology installed in the workplace. Eliminating the need for touching surfaces (signing-in passes and guests books) and identifying those people who may have an elevated temperature, are sensible precautions that companies can take.
But many companies believe that their organisation is too small, their footfall is too large, or they have legacy systems in place which would prove problematic to work alongside a new temperature checking system. We’ve recently installed ProtecKam for a variety of clients big and small. Including a European cheese wholesale company, two global groups, one of which manufactures lubricants and the other equipment for water quality monitoring and disinfection control—a large data centre, an indoor obstacle course company and also an independent children’s nursery. And, because these organisations are all different, so are their ProtecKam requirements.
Technical Display has installed units connected to existing access control, so that the client has complete contactless entry and exit of the building, along with our time management software. Some clients have just had a stand-alone stand-mounted system that monitors and scans every person that enters and exits that building, which may suit a smaller company. For those companies with high footfall, the fact that ProtecKam temperature checks up to 30 people every 0.2 seconds is a huge help!
