Orcha Health were due to move into a brand-new headquarters, located at Sci-Tech Park, Daresbury, Cheshire, and they got in touch with us through a recommendation from another one of our clients.
Our initial visit was to an empty shell of a building, so we had to use our imagination to envisage the layout, and location of services that were not present yet. Our client had specific audio visual and video conferencing requirements that needed a lot of consideration.
We were informed that there were 5 areas that required AV and VC solutions.
We held discussions with our client to establish exactly what they were looking to achieve, and then we set about designing them a high specification solution that complimented their requirements perfectly.
As this was their new prestige Headquarters, our client wanted to ensure that there were enough meeting rooms to accommodate their employees as and when they visited the office.
We had 1 boardroom, 2 meeting rooms, 1 Interactive corner and 1 communal area to equip out with AV.
From here, our experienced design, programming and installation teams worked together to successfully install, set up and commission all of the equipment within time scales given and with minimal disruption.

Boardroom – Meeting Rooms – Interactive Corner – Communal Area
Our client had specific requirements for each of the five areas, for their boardroom, Orcha wanted an AV and VC system that was able to split in to two separate rooms.
The boardroom was designed to have a partition wall that could be folded back to open up in to one large meeting room, or closed to create a second meeting room.
The client trusted our advice and guidance in tailor-making a bespoke system that offers flexibility, ease of use from a fully controllable management system.
To follow the scope of works issued by the main contractor, we carried out a first fix installation, making sure that we had all the cabling in place in each of the 5 areas, until the refurbishment reached a point where we could return to install all of the hardware.
Coordinating with the project manager and the client, we operated as efficiently as possible, to keep within timescales and complete the whole installation on time and to the satisfaction of our client.
Easy to Control & User Friendly
The main boardroom display is a 75” LG Professional quality unit, mounted on to an electronic height adjustable stand.
There is a second 65” LG professional display within the Boardroom that replicates the image from the 75” display when the room is opened up. This display becomes independent when the room is split, making it a fully independent VC/presentation suite.
The client is able to control both of those displays, along with the Q-SYS PTZ VC camera, Biamp Beam tracking ceiling mounted microphones. “These microphones lock on to a person, even if they are moving around the room whilst speaking”, and the ceiling mounted HQ Pendent speakers that provide high quality audio in the environment.
Control of the boardroom equipment is via a table mounted 10″ touch screen display, to include source selection, display selection, VC camera and audio control.
Alongside of the Boardroom, we also installed in to various areas, several other LG 4K professional displays, and a 75” CTouch Interactive display, Logitech MeetUp VC units and Barco ClickShare for securely and seamlessly wirelessly sharing content with the display.

Installing Logitech MeetUp Video Conferencing Systems alongside Barco Clickshare units in the meeting rooms, allows the users to enter the room and be connected wirelessly at the push of a button, making it simple to present or to join a VC meeting.
Complete Satisfaction
The result was that the client was extremely pleased with their Boardroom and VC rooms audio visual set up, and also very satisfied with the ease of use of the 10″ touch screen control panel, for anyone using the room.
TDS created a bespoke system that suited our clients’ requirements exactly, which allowed them to have flexibility and full control over their displays. Whether they wish to hold a Teams or Zoom meeting, or just want to share a desktop to a display, the client now has a system that is not only aesthetically pleasing to look at, but they also have a system that is practical and fit for purpose.
