Training/presentation room installation

Project:
To design, install and maintain two Training/Presentation room systems for a new build project.
Requirements:
The system had to be easy to operate as the two rooms are to be used by multiple users for in-house and external client training/presentation applications. Both rooms are to reflect a high quality environment as the clients will be renting the rooms out. The facility to present from a visiting laptop computer, along with a VCR and DVD player. Further inputs for external equipment would be advantageous. Have a high quality stereo sound system. It should have a neat and tidy appearance with all non user equipment to be securely housed in an equipment cabinet. The cabinet should compliment the existing room furniture
Technical Display Solution
Room 1
- A Philips Pronto control system with a wireless touch screen control panel dispenses with the need for all infra red remote controls. Programmed by our engineer, it enables simple access and control of the whole system from anywhere around the meeting table.
XGA resolution images are displayed on a large 150Wcm x 150Hcm sliding projection screen. The projection screen is mounted on to a wall mounted, sliding rail system that provides the user with a full length paper hanging function. Other equipment on the sliding rail system included a 90Hcm x 180Lcm magnetic dry-wipe board and flipchart easel with quick release clamps and adjustable supporting lugs.
- The projection screen also has a tilt facility so it can also be used with an overhead acetate projector.
- The VCR/DVD player and audio amplifier are all housed within an equipment racking system.
- Two wall mounted speakers support audio from all the input sources.
- The tables and chairs were carefully chosen to compliment the existing wood finishes. They are also easy to store and erect, providing the client with a flexible seating solution.
- All cables and connections within the equipment rack are neatly hidden away
- The equipment rack work top accommodates the Philips Pronto charging station; wireless keyboard and mouse and visiting laptops
- There is a Video and audio input plate to accommodate external inputs from a camcorder, i-POD etc.
